Ebony Queen

She is the perfect example of a Nubian queen.

She is dark with a comely face.
Her edges are imperfect and her eyes are piercing; those
which she can turn on and off.

They signify intelligence and sexual desire.

Her dark thin lips signify
the fullness of her other pair.

She walks with an erectness which gives her strength
a whole new meaning.

Her masculinity compliments her femininity.

She’s as strong as my ancestors. She has a strong chin and
it’s confidence that portrays itself in her portrait.

And, being lovely is only attested by her man. And me… oh me…

Prince of a kingdom in a far-off land.

Seventy slaves, I would
Trade for her hand.

Take me down to the Nile
where my sins drown as
my garments are cleansed.

Oh, beaut’ your father must be proud.

Strong woman, are you religious?
Because you walk with such faith.

Your heels marvel at the sight of your feet.

Oh object of my desire; hear ye my call for matrimony.

The moment your heart says yes, my chariot awaits.
